| We are just raising our first pair of Cavaliers now and are very pleased with their progress. We like to raise our dogs from puppyhood. This allows us to learn more about their dispositions and any health issues! Feel free to contact us about our Cavaliers! |
What a terrific little breed! Originating in Great Britain, this little breed became very popular with Royalty! It was believed to be crossed with a Cocker Spaniel and a King Charles resulting in: a smaller version of the Cocker Spaniel with a shorter nose......just beautiful! The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has a long, silky coat with very large, dark eyes. It is an extremely sweet natured dog with a very high rate of learning. The Cavalier is perfect for kids, the elderly, other dogs, and yes, even CATS! Not requiring alot of exercise, the Cavalier is happy playing in the yard or laying at your feet.............or better yet, sitting in your lap staring up at you with those eyes! Brushing once a week with a hard bristled brush and bathing as needed is all the Cavalier requires. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel comes in four colors, including Ruby, Tri, Black & Tan and Blenheim. We presently have Tri and Blenheim breeders. This little breed should stand approximately 12-13 inches and the adult weight should be approximately 10-16 pounds. The Cavalier is easy to spoil..........they get their way with their eyes! |
