| Periodically we have older adults or puppies to place in loving homes. Adopting an older dog requires time and patience. They make really good pets for the family who may be looking for an indoor/outdoor pet. Finding good homes for our retired adults is important to us........we owe it to them. Retired dogs CAN be housed trained, but it does take time and patience and can even be easier than a puppy because an adult dog only "uses it" two -three times a day.
